DECLARATION
of 20 March 2003
amending Decree No 243 / 2001 Coll., on vehicle registration, as amended by Decree No 496 / 2001 Coll. and Decree No 368 / 2002 Coll.
The Ministry of Transport provides, pursuant to § 91 (1) of Act No. 56 / 2001 Coll., on the terms of road traffic and amending Act No. 168 / 1999 Coll., on insurance of liability for damage caused by the operation of a vehicle and on the amendment of certain related laws (Act on Insurance of Liability from the operation of a vehicle), as amended by Act No. 307 / 1999 Coll., ("the Act ') for the implementation of § 4 (7), § 5 (3), § 7 (2) and (4) and § 79 (1) and (5):
Decree No. 243 / 2001 Coll., on Vehicle Registration, as amended by Decree No. 496 / 2001 Coll. and Decree No. 368 / 2002 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 1 (d), the words "district authorities' are replaced by the words" municipal authorities with extended scope '.
2. in Article 1 (e), the words "the district office" shall be replaced by the words "the municipal authority of the municipality with extended competence."
3. In Article 2 (b), the words "to a standard registration mark 'are replaced by the words" only to a table with a standard registration mark which was produced under the legislation in force before the entry into force of the law'.
4. In Paragraph 19 (3), the words "district authorities' are replaced by the words" municipal authorities with extended scope '.
5. In the first sentence of Article 24 (7), the words "registration marks' are replaced by the words" with a registration mark which was produced under the legislation in force before the entry into force of the law '.
6. Paragraph 24 (9) is deleted.
Paragraphs 10 to 12 shall become paragraphs 9 to 11.
7. Paragraph 29 (8) is deleted.
Paragraphs 9 to 11 shall be renumbered paragraphs 8 to 10.
8. Annex 3 shall read as follows:
"Annex No 3 to Decree No 243 / 2001 Coll.
Application for registration of changes to the data in the road vehicle register
9. Annex 6 shall read as follows:
"Annex No 6 to Decree No 243 / 2001 Coll.

Transitional provision
Forms produced before the entry into force of this Order may be used by 31 December 2004 at the latest, provided that the amendments resulting from the adaptation of Annexes 3, 6, 8, 10 and 11 are indicated.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 May 2003.
